Dear Pat and Kay,
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the help, encouragement, and support you have given me over the last year while you were helping me search for my
birthson! It helped me prepare for the most wonderful reunion I could ever have dreamed about!
After many hours of getting to know each other on the phone and also several e-mails back and forth, I asked my son if I could fly down and meet him. He said he thought it would be cool. :-) And it was! He introduced me to many friends, his boss, and many others -- and he introduced me as his mom! That sure made my day!
He had a wonderful loving family who raised him fabulously -- it warms my heart -- and makes me very grateful! God has been very merciful and gracious to me!!
Tomorrow he is driving here to see me again and to meet two of the three half-brothers on my side of the family. He will be meeting his birthfather later on in the summer. Things have certainly come full circle. Thank you for your part in all our happiness!
