   Because my father was difficult to find (in fact, it seemed as if he wanted to be lost), it took extra effort on your part to find him. Even when it seemed like we came to a dead standstill, you folks were always very positive and confident with me that we would find my father. I appreciate your kindness in all our dealings. Many people claim that they are a "Christian business," but few really act like it. Well, from all my contact with you guys, you definitely live what you believe and I appreciate that.

   I know you are both wondering how my visit went with my Dad, well it went great! His wife, Vickie of 25 years has welcomed me into their family even though I can tell it is hard for her to deal with. It is so weird, my Dad and I look more alike than my Mom and I, and we have some similar personality characteristics, also. He is a very sweet man and very sorry that he was not there for my upbringing. He knows that I forgive him, and we are just going to go on and enjoy the future we have together as Father and Daughter...
